How we came to be.

Be tan - I am was created with one goal - an affordable, natural looking tan in a relaxing, upscale environment, with a focus on providing a premium experience.

After half a century of New England living, I couldn't tolerate having a pale, sad face for 8 months out of the year any more, and set off on a year-long journey. Every week, for nearly 52 weeks, I traveled to nearly every tanning salon within in hour of Nashua, NH, and took notes.

Many locations offered lots of services, such as sunbeds, waxing, and teeth-whitening, with a sunless tanning side-project relegated to an unremarkable back room, with sub-standard solutions and techniques. Robes, and even changing rooms, were a rarity. For the next 24 hours I'd endure night sweats as my skin would repeatedly heat up during the suggested 24 hour waiting time for the solution to "curate".

I was frequently underwhelmed, but inspired to create my own experience - a private oasis with 2 airbrush rooms, 2 machine rooms (Versa Spa Pro and Mystic Unity), and a focus on making the experience the best it could possibly be. I do hope other will join me in the desire to be be all the time - not just for special occasions.
